We’re more than ready for Dior‘s Fall/Winter 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week (PFW). After snapshots of Blackpink’s Jisoo, Kim Min-gyu of K-pop boy group Seventeen and Thai actress Tontawan heading to the fashion capital were unveiled last night, it’s safe to say we’ve just been counting down the hours to the fashion show.

Beyond the front-row eye-candy, we’ve also been left wondering: what will Maria Grazia Chiuri bring to the house this season? After the Spring/Summer 2024 lineup last year of sheer fabrics, soft tailoring and faded denim, and the wide skirts and thick collars from the ‘Big Aura’ Haute Couture collection last month, much has been left to the imagination for Dior’s Fall/Winter offering. After all, Dior has kept most details about its forthcoming show under wraps for now.

One thing we do know is that we can expect another powerful statement of female empowerment from Chiuri. Ever since her debut with the house in 2016, Chiuri has consciously peppered her creations at the maison with pointed, directed messages of feminine strength. At the Spring/Summer presentation last September, Chiuri enlisted the help of Italian visual artist Elena Bellantoni, who reimagined and reclaimed text from outdated, sexist advertisements and turned them on their heads for an art installation, titled ‘Not Her’ for the show.

With just a few hours remaining before showtime, Dior has delivered a whisper of what’s to come for the upcoming season at PFW. A short video shared on the brand’s Instagram offers us a quick look back into the origins of the Miss Dior ready-to-wear line, speaking to its youthful approach and innovative take on clothing and accessories since the range made its debut in 1967. How will the creative director combine her signature feminist approach to fashion with the sprightly essence of Miss Dior, if at all?

So, mark your calendars, don’t miss out on Chiuri’s latest Dior runway presentation taking place tonight at 10PM (Singapore Time). You can tune into the livestream of the show below, to get first looks at the French maison’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
