Saint Laurent has introduced a glamorous, mini-sized version of its It-bag, which may be the perfect party bag this season—expect it to attract attention both IRL and online. Celine Triomphe Collection
Hedi Slimane gets the needle-moving fashion of the ‘60s so, so right with the new Celine Triomphe collection. It’s all in the details, like the perfectly rounded Peter Pan collar of a jacket, the cut of the trapeze mini dresses, or the proportions of Celine’s new knee-high boots, with its rounded almond toe and block heel. Then there are the coordinating ensembles: the tailored cropped jackets end right where their matching, A-line skirts begin, faithfully recreating the silhouette of the decade. Several pieces from the collection use wool tricotine, a fabric that Slimane specially revived from the Celine archives. The fabric is fine yet sturdy, and features a distinctive, diagonal weave. Slimane also introduced accessories like ballet flats, Mary Jane platform shoes and the Celine Teen Nino bag in patent leather that shines with a Space Age sheen. To complete your transformation into a ‘60s style icon, we recommend spritzing the Celine Zouzou perfume too. Moncler Grenoble Pre-Fall 2024 Collection
The new Moncler Grenoble collection makes layering for the outdoors a breeze. Designed for all your mountain adventures, the collection features water-repellent and weather-proof shell jackets, as well as warm mid-layers, like ski sweatshirts and wool jumpers. The pieces are lightweight and versatile, with plenty of technical touches to appreciate too. The Vorassy cape, for example, comes with an adjustable hood and can be easily packed into an accompanying pouch. The Fex hooded jacket, which offers protection from wind and rain, boasts a nylon belt with a carabiner to hook your gloves onto. This year, Montblanc’s iconic writing instrument, the Meisterstück, turns 100 years old. To celebrate, the German luxury brand has unveiled the Meisterstück Anniversary Capsule, featuring elegant leather goods inspired by Montblanc’s writing heritage. That includes a briefcase, messenger bags and a pochette, all marked with a distinctive pen case on their exteriors. Beyond The Vines’s Dumpling Bag is back. The homegrown fashion brand has released its cult-favourite nylon accessory in an array of fun and bright colours, including cerulean blue, neon pink, yellow and orange. Louis Vuitton is getting in on the bag charms trend with the new Vivienne Fashionista capsule collection, which features the maison’s mascot, Vivienne. French label Polène gives a whole new meaning to straw bags with its new Paï collection. Designed to resemble a straw bale, the Paï bag features a wooden case that is meticulously crafted with traditional cabinet-making techniques, while its striking exterior is made from Madagascar raffia and leather. The bag also comes with a shoulder strap that allows it to be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody bag. Kate Spade x Heinz Ketchup
Kate Spade has collaborated with Heinz Ketchup. Yes, you read that right. The New York fashion brand has unveiled a fun collection of T-shirts, tote bags, iPhone cases and loafers featuring Heinz Ketchup’s iconic bright red branding. How about a card case that resembles a packet of tomato sauce? And what about some fries to go with your ketchup? Kate Spade has also launched its What A Snack jewellery collection. Treat yourself to earrings, rings and pendant necklaces featuring tasty motifs like hot dogs and French fries.
Izipizi Tasty Summer Collection
In the vein of delicious delights, Izipizi has launched its Tasty summer capsule collection. The French eyewear brand, which counts Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford as a fan, has introduced the Tasty square sunglasses, which are designed with a slender and transparent frame. The stylish shades come in three colours: Cola, a medium, warm brown; Granita, a Brat-like lime green; and Syrup, a light pink. You can find the limited-edition sunglasses at Izipizi’s pop-up at Takashimaya Department Store, which runs until 18 July. Plus, drop by this weekend (13 and 14 July) to enjoy handcrafted popsicles from Mrs Plump’s, with flavours inspired by the collection.
