Dive deep into the “fantastical and dreamlike” interpretations of BTS members this December through an art exhibition titled Seven Phases.

The art exhibition is a collaboration between Taiwanese-American artist James Jean and K-pop boy band BTS. Open for public viewing with the purchase of a ticket, it features art reimagined and inspired by the latter’s Yet To Come era. It will run from 16 Dec (Sat) till 25 Feb 2024 (Sun) in Annexe Hall 3 of the Singapore Science Centre.

The exhibition was first revealed in 2021 at the HYBE Insight Museum located at the label’s building in Yongsan, Seoul. HYBE Insight is the entertainment label’s exhibition arm.

As of January this year, the museum has shut its doors, according to its official website. HYBE Insight will be converting the space into dance studios, production rooms, and other facilities, according to media reports.

After the exhibition in Seoul, the exhibition has made its way around the world as well. It travelled to Germany months ago and is currently showing in Manila, Philippines.

Through the exhibition, viewers will see paintings where each BTS member is presented as a flower in the dreamy world of fantasy. According to a statement, the exhibition will “offer a truly immersive experience”.

Admirers can also “explore the captivating and harmonious synergy between BTS and James Jean”, it added.

In other BTS news, while some members are currently in the military, others have continued with their solo endeavours. This includes member V, who dropped his debut studio album Layover (2023) back in September.

Fellow bandmate Jungkook previously released various solo tracks, like 3D (2023) and Seven (2023), teaming up with Jack Harlow and Latto respectively. The 26-year-old singer’s debut studio album, Golden (2023), will make its long-awaited drop today.
