The hottest summer festival is finally here. Waterbomb Singapore 2025 is kicking off its first day with a blast. Before our sunny island, the festival also saw other stops, including Seoul, Busan, and Hainan.

For this year’s Singapore edition, Huta, EXID, Minho, Taemin and 2NE1 are some of the key acts fans can look forward to.

Below, we’re bringing you live updates of the exciting lineup from the first day of Waterbomb Singapore 2025, right from Sentosa’s Siloso Beach.

Sorn & Seungyeon

This year, Sorn returns to Waterbomb together with Seungyeon as a unit.

Aptly dressed for Waterbomb, the duo wore a fully customised Nike fit. Sorn was spotted in a refreshing blue toga top with a distressed maxi skirt, while Seungyeon opted for a white cut-out top with a short denim skirt.

Seungyeon spun a short DJ set, while Sorn performed her solo hits like Rowdy, Cold Waters and more.

With a whopping total of thirteen members on stage, it comes as no surprise that the level of excitement here at Waterbomb is at an all-time high.

The joint collaboration between two famous dance crews saw top-notch performances with unmatched energies. Jam-packed with one spectacle after another, the girls from two crews flaunted their moves on stage and doused one another with water.

Aside from performing their latest choreographies as individual crews, their performance here brought many new collaborations. These include the iconic Smoke challenge and ever-trending tunes like Katseye’s Gnarly.

It was heartening to witness the two leaders’s friendship blossom into one between the two crews. “The last time we collaborated was two years ago on Street Woman Fighter 2,” Kirsten of Jam Republic affectionately reminisced.

Huta

Put simply, Huta’s performance was an all-in-one package.

Taking the stage with a sheer white button-down, the soloist proceeded to empty a full bottle of water over himself. Well, of course, it happened while he sang one of his newest releases, Wet.

The 34-year-old singer then added a dose of emotionality into his performance, surprising the crowd after his intense performance. He added: “This is my first time back in Singapore after seven years, and this marks my first solo performance in Singapore.”

Late into the set, he also paid homage to his group by singing BTOB’s Higher, a song he made for the band. In between his tracks, he also affectionately referenced a meme from bandmate Eunkwang.

“Are you okay? Give up!” he cheekily added.

EXID

If there was ever a group that couldn’t be more fitting for Waterbomb, it would be EXID.

Marking the group’s first-ever Waterbomb stage, this also happens to be EXID’s first show in town after some seven years. “I feel relieved that our first Waterbomb stage was in Singapore,” said member Hye-lin.

Dressed in the classic summer fit of white tops and light denim bottoms, the girls proved to be a sight for sore eyes.

The group flaunted their classic sexy side with endless classics, such as L.I.E, DDD and Hot Pink. Leaving the best for last, the quintet ended their set with Up&Down.

SHINee’s Minho

Known for his fiery charisma, SHINee’s Minho radiated intensity throughout his set.

Standing out for his tasteful fashion sense, he pulled off the double denim look, complete with crystal-embellished jeans.

His performance showcased a treasure trove of charms. From his more subdued charm in Call Back, his sultry side in Something About U, to his more energetic performance in Runaway.

The singer also performed fan favourite Body Rhythm from SHINee, all while showing off effortless body rolls.

“I promise to come back as soon as possible, with as many members as I can”, he added. Undoubtedly, the singer and his fans were of one heart at that moment.

SHINee’s Taemin

Something’s definitely in the air, and it must be Taemin’s undeniable aura.

Seemingly matching with his bandmate Minho, he appeared in a white wifebeater and matched it with luxuriously printed outerwear. Though he did not manage to keep it on for long, thanks to the evening’s sweltering heat.

With tunes like Guilty, Advice, and Move, Taemin somehow managed to bring his artistic flair and intricate choreography to his Waterbomb set.

As if he could not get any more iconic, the singer concluded the night with a joint stage with Minho. The duo performed SHINee’s View, a song that fits perfectly with this balmy summer night.
