On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of Mikimoto, the Japanese jewellery brand held a pop-up exhibition at the Ngee Ann City Atrium, and celebrities including Thai actor James Jirayu and Singaporean actress Chantalle Ng made a special appearance at the grand opening event.
The exhibition showcased highlights from Mikimoto’s history, through key pieces such as the magnificent body jewel, high jewellery creations, and items from its contemporary collections such as V Code, featuring the cultured pearls that the brand first developed and introduced 130 years ago.
The pop-up exhibition follows the “Love Pearls” digital campaign launched in June, featuring friends and fans of Mikimoto including James Jirayu and ambassadors Dilraba and Song Weilong.
