Twice a year, the fashion world undergoes a collective awakening in the form of fashion month. Starting in New York City and concluding in Paris, the industry goes on a month-long voyage through the four major fashion capitals to bring us the best in style and design. But beyond the collections floating down the runways, the glitz of the front-row is always hard to ignore—not that we would ever want to. From NewJeans’ Hanni’s pared-down Gucci outfit to Peggy Gou’s Detective Conan-coded Bottega Veneta fit, the style savants of Asia were serving this season, and they knew it.
Fashion month wouldn’t be complete without Blackpink in attendance. The girls opted for a monochromatic colour scheme with Jennie and Jisoo taking the goth coquette aesthetic to Chanel and Dior respectively. Lisa’s unexpected arrival at Louis Vuitton roused a stir, dressed in an intricate frock coat while Rosé showed up at Saint Laurent in a sheer brown gown. Some notable fashion month highlights include Stray Kids’s Felix making his runway debut at Louis Vuitton, Kate Moss’s doppelganger gracing the runway at Marine Serre and Chemena Kamali launching her inaugural collection as Chloé’s creative director.
