While various artists have recently released their concert details, you can brace yourself to see a group of K-stars all at once in May.
From Jessi and Monsta X’s Joohoney and I.M to Gray and Loco, fans can catch them, and more, at the upcoming +82 Presents Playground festival. The event will also see performances from hip-hop dance crew Holybang, rappers Lil Cherry and Goldbuuda, together with producer and DJ Yungin.
Blending both K-pop and K-culture, the event will offer an “unparalleled [and] immersive new entertainment concept”, according to a press statement.
Other than just live music, there are also interactive challenges where festival-goers can engage in thrilling games inspired by famed Netflix series Squid Game.
If you’re more of a foodie instead, you can also feast on Korea’s most iconic food and drinks: from sizzling street eats to smooth spirits.
Playground is the brainchild of global entertainment and lifestyle company, +82. “We designed ‘Playground’ to be more than just an event; it’s an experience that allows fans to live and breathe K-culture in a way they never have before, says Terry Lee, CEO and Managing Director of +82.
Unlike other K-pop festivals, fans will also play an integral part in the event. According to the event’s press statement, they will be able to influence the show’s direction and possibly interact with performers in a spontaneous fashion.
This creates a dynamic, ever-changing environment that embodies the playful, exploratory spirit of a playground.
Tickets to +82 Presents Playground go from S$188 to S$358. They are now available via Ticketmaster.
