So, how does matcha—a symbol of Japanese tradition—connect with Café Kitsuné’s French roots? The journey began a decade ago in Paris. When Café Kitsuné first introduced the matcha latte to the city’s coffee enthusiasts, the vibrant green drink was unfamiliar and adventurous. Yet, in true Kitsuné fashion, the café masterfully blended the elegance of French café culture with the Zen-like calm of Japan, crafting a delicate balance of matcha and creamy milk.

Now, a decade later, Café Kitsuné is marking its 10th anniversary with a special celebration in Singapore at Café Kitsuné Capitol, offering fans a unique opportunity to indulge in their matcha expertise.

From October 17 to November 1, 2024, Café Kitsuné Capitol will embrace its French-Japanese heritage through a limited-time menu packed with matcha-infused treats and exclusive new offerings. Fans of this iconic brand can enjoy reimagined matcha desserts like the Matcha Strawberry Shortcake, Matcha Canele, and Matcha Chocolate Loaf Cake, starting at just $6.

On the drinks front, four exclusive matcha-based creations will take center stage: Matcha Strawberry Latte, Matcha Jasmine Coconut, Matcha Coconut Cloud, and the Bergamot & Jasmine Matcha Fizz, with prices starting from $7.50. Each item showcases Café Kitsuné’s mastery of matcha, elevating the classic flavors with a modern twist.

At the heart of these creations is Café Kitsuné’s premium matcha powder, sourced from Kagoshima, Japan. Known for its creamy texture, rich umami, and mellow taste, the matcha offers a less grassy and less bitter profile, making it perfect for home brewing as well. For the first time, Café Kitsuné’s matcha powder will be available for purchase, allowing fans to extend the experience beyond the café’s walls.
