Since its debut in 2002, the Aqua Terra has become one of Omega’s most recognisable and versatile timepieces. From the start, it stood out for its adaptability—equally at home in the boardroom or by the marina. Its very name reflects this dual spirit: “Aqua” for water and “Terra” for land, symbolising a lifestyle that balances adventure with elegance.
Signature design elements like the teak-patterned dial—evocative of luxury yacht decking—and the clean, symmetrical layout have defined the collection since day one. The Aqua Terra has always walked a fine line between functionality and finesse: robust enough to withstand depths of 150 metres, yet refined enough to complement any polished ensemble.
Over the years, Omega has steadily evolved the collection, introducing advancements such as anti-magnetic movements and Master Chronometer certification.
Now, more than two decades after the Aqua Terra’s debut, the collection takes an elegant step forward with its most refined iteration yet: the Aqua Terra 30mm. Crucially, this new model isn’t simply a scaled-down version of a larger design.
It is powered by newly developed Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibres 8750 and 8751, created specifically for the 30mm case. These movements offer the same high standards of precision and magnetic resistance—withstanding magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss without compromising accuracy—as well as the durability of larger models, with a power reserve exceeding 48 hours. In short, it delivers the full measure of Omega’s performance, engineering, and design—now in a more compact silhouette.

As Omega president and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann notes, “The most beautiful part of the watch is the one you cannot immediately see. Our new calibres represent Omega’s highest expression of engineering, hidden within yet defining the watch’s essence.”
The 30mm collection introduces 12 models, offering a range of styles and materials. These include three versions in Omega’s proprietary 18 karat Moonshine Gold, one in 18 karat Sedna Gold, five in stainless steel, two combining stainless steel with Moonshine Gold, and one blending steel with Sedna Gold.
Dial options span deep blue, warm brown, and rich purple, along with two mother-of-pearl variations—one featuring a softly diffused “cloudy” effect that reflects light beautifully. Each model features a date window at six o’clock and a sapphire crystal caseback revealing the movement within.
To accompany the launch, Omega has unveiled a new campaign, “What’s Your Secret?”, spotlighting six women from diverse industries—including Danielle Marsh from NewJeans, Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose, singer Tems, and model Ashley Graham—who embody the confidence and individuality of the Aqua Terra wearer. The campaign celebrates inner strength and self-assurance, qualities that reflect the spirit of the 30mm timepiece.
With this launch, Omega expands the Aqua Terra family while keeping its message consistent: elegance and innovation don’t need to shout—they simply need to remain true to who you are.
