To commemorate the eighth anniversary of the Singapore Watch Club, Vacheron Constantin teamed up with the club to restore and update 15 Vacheron Constantin timepieces belonging to the club’s members.

“This specific project reflects Vacheron Constantin’s commitment to the conservation, restoration, transmission, and continuous enrichment of its heritage and traditional skills,” says Christian Selmoni, style and heritage director of Vacheron Constantin. “It is a testimony to the maison’s watchmakers know-how and commitment in respecting its history.”

Elevating the concept of a friendship bracelet to the stratosphere, the special edition is made up of the Vacheron Constantin Historiques Chronograph 47101, and brings contemporary enhancements to a 1990s creation: Matching blue straps with red stitches near the lugs, and the central chronograph seconds hand tipped with red—with red standing for universal brotherhood and equality of man—plus a gold commemorative bridge decorated with a motif based on the initials “SWC,” which was engraved by hand at the manufacture’s Métiers d’Art studio.

On top of that, the Vacheron Constantin archives have been updated to record these modifications for future reference, earning the Singapore Watch Club special edition a permanent place within Vacheron Constantin’s 268-year history.
