Inside The Chanel Tweed De Chanel High Jewellery Presentation In Singapore

Inspired by the maison's iconic tweed fabric, the high jewellery collection was a stunning display of craft and mastery

Join Editor-in-Chief Pakkee Tan as he takes you inside the Chanel Tweed de Chanel high jewellery presentation in Singapore, where we were transported to the wilds of Scotland, and explored the dazzling creations of the maison that took its inspiration from one of their enduring motifs: the humble tweed fabric. The sturdy material, which originated from Scotland, was transformed into masterpieces woven from gold, platinum, diamonds, and precious stones for a moving ode to the iconic material that has been used to fashion Chanel’s chic jackets, flap purses and more. “For this new high jewellery collection dedicated to tweed, I wanted to go further in the interpretation by creating a veritable fabric of precious stones that is light and supple,” said Patrice Leguéreau, director of the Chanel Fine Jewelry Creation Studio. See all the highlights from the high jewellery presentation in our video (including the necklace going for a cool $5.5 million!) and check out some of our favourite pieces below.
