When Dior’s creative jewellery director Victoire de Castellane first dreamed up the Rose des Vents collection in 2015, she wasn’t just creating a new jewellery line. What began as a tribute to Monsieur Dior’s childhood in Granville—where a mosaic wind rose adorned the garden of Villa Les Rhumbs—has since evolved into a multifaceted narrative of symbols, stones, and savoir-faire.

Ten years on, the collection now spans four distinct universes, each telling a different chapter of Dior’s enduring fascination with destiny, nature, and elegance. As the Rose des Vents collection marks its tenth year, what remains constant is its deep-rooted storytelling: each jewel is a point on the map of Dior’s legacy, a marker of memory, mystery, and magic. And as with every journey, the beauty lies not just in the destination—but in the detours of discovery.

Rose des Vents: The Original Compass

The cornerstone of the collection, Rose des Vents debuted with a now-signature design: medallions that swivel to reveal either a gemstone face or the wind rose motif. The duality of each piece—both playful and poetic—quickly established it as an emblem of the maison’s contemporary jewellery codes.

In 2025, to mark its 10th anniversary, the story continues with new ring designs and a discreetly luxurious hidden watch, extending the collection’s language of charm and versatility.

Rose Céleste: Celestial Duality

Launched in 2018, Rose Céleste draws from Monsieur Dior’s lifelong fascination with astrology and divination. Here, the sun and moon act as guiding symbols—cardinal points for the soul—rendered in radiant gold, onyx, and mother-of-pearl.

This year, the line expands with a clever reversible necklace offering two distinct moods in one piece, and earrings designed with three modular wear options. The standout: a transformable necklace with a movable hook that attaches to any link on the chain, allowing it to be worn as a belt, a choker, or a long sautoir. Versatility becomes the new form of luxury.

Charms: Secrets and Symbols

Introduced in 2022, Charms is a nod to Dior’s cherished “gris-gris”—personal talismans hidden beneath layers of couture and meaning. In this iteration, motifs from the Rose des Vents universe are rendered with subtle surprises: diamonds and stones tucked away in discreet settings, visible only to the wearer. Intimate, intricate, and impossibly precious, these pieces turn jewellery into a whispered secret.

Most recently, in 2024, Dior unveiled Étoile des Vents, a celestial reimagining of its signature star—Monsieur Dior’s fabled good luck charm. In 2025, this fourth chapter is illuminated by three new single earrings and a constellation necklace, composed in gold and diamonds. Less a piece of jewellery than a wearable galaxy, it traces a shimmering path back to the maison’s mythic beginnings on 30 Avenue Montaigne.
