For the 71,100 Instagram users not already following the page @directorfits, which is an account dedicated to chronically the ensembles of some of the greatest movie auteurs, the press tour wardrobe of debut filmmaker Zoë Kravitz may just convert you to an admirer.
While the director is at the top of the on-set hierarchy, their sartorial choices are often overlooked when it comes to the actors, especially if they’re method-dressing as their character on the red carpet.
Yet, with the promotional excursion for her freshman offering Blink Twice, Kravitz has ensured her costuming demands a second look with sleek outfits worthy of a starring role. All courtesy of Saint Laurent, of course, Kravitz has opted for looks that are stealthy sexy, entirely effortless and purposefully put together.
Given that the Big Little Lies star has spent the past seven years meticulously constructing every frame, piece of dialogue and casting choice, it’s only fitting that she continued this attention to detail with her wardrobe. As we’ve seen from her lace camisole in London and cut-out silk gown in Los Angeles, these whispers of minimal elegance makes her style so compelling.
It’s also serving as the antithesis to the hypercharged psychological thriller. For the uninitiated, Kravitz’s fiancé Channing Tatum leads the film as charming tech bro Slater King. After inviting the gullible Frida (Naomi Ackie) and curious Jess (Alia Shawkat) to King’s private island for a seemingly neverending party, bedlam erupts after the shiny veneer of the vacation begins to erode.

In a blood-red scoop neck Saint Laurent gown, Kravitz embodies the tone of her first-ever feature; seductive, alluring and ever so stylish. Like the protagonist in the film, Kravitz also completed her look with decorative nail art. She was later joined on the red carpet by the cast, including Tatum and her father, rockstar Lenny Kravitz.
Blink Twice European Photocall — London
Kravitz took us back to the 90s during a photocall for the film overlooking the River Thames. Wearing Look 17 from Saint Laurent’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, the look consisted of a ribbed camisole with lace neckline and scalloped hem and a matching sheer-style wrap skirt.
Blink Twice American Premiere — Los Angeles
