New York Fashion Week saw a fair share of K-pop stars on the front row, but only one of them made it on the runway: TWICE’s Dahyun. The Take A Look At Me singer indeed had us looking at her when she made a surprise appearance at the Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show.
As GRAZIA Singapore saw it from the front row, Dahyun was composed and elegant as she walked down the runway. The South Korean singer and rapper modelled Look 42, a brown off-shoulder minidress. She also flaunted a top-handle Michael Kors Manhattan handbag with tassels and sported a pair of open-toe mules.
Dahyun’s runway debut was witnessed by an array of celebrities: Lindsay Lohan, Suki Waterhouse, Mindy Kaling and Chinese actor Tan Jianci (aka JC-T) were some of the stars seen on the front row of the show, which took place at the The Shed in New York City’s Hudson Yards.
It wasn’t too long ago that Dahyun herself was one of the VIPs at a Michael Kors fashion show. The 26-year-old attended the American luxury brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 presentation back in February this year. She was named as global brand ambassador for Michael Kors in 2023, and has gone on to front the brand’s fashion campaigns.
Dahyun’s runway debut is undoubtedly one of the biggest moments of NYFW, but what deserves just as much attention is the model’s off-duty style. Stepping out after the fashion show, Dahyun wore a grey stretch merino wool dress with a side slit and ruched detailing, which beautifully flattered her figure. Like a native New Yorker, the TWICE star styled her dress with a pair of knee-high suede boots—perfect for strutting through the city’s streets. And, to complete her look, Dahyun accessorised with the Michael Kors Colby shoulder bag in brown burnished leather.
The bag added a vintage-inspired touch to Dahyun’s minimalist ensemble—which was head-to-toe Michael Kors. Clearly, the TWICE member and the American brand are a match made in fashion heaven.
