What does it take to be a woman blazing her own trail?

GRAZIA Singapore found out with the launch of our new series, In Her Shoes, held in collaboration with The Onitsuka. The series, which spotlights bold and inspiring women, kicked off with a session with Willabelle Ong on 13 November.

Ong has plenty of experience in forging her own path in life. This year, the fashion content creator officially added “entrepreneur” to her resume, following the launch of her home care brand, Ome. During her In Her Shoes session, Ong spoke candidly with GRAZIA Singapore Editor-in-Chief Pakkee Tan; she shared more about her foray into the fashion industry, the evolution of her style, and her exciting choice to pursue acting not long after launching Ome.

The event, which saw a gathering of GRAZIA Singapore’s vibrant community members, took place at The Onitsuka’s stylish flagship store in ION Orchard. The Onitsuka is a formal footwear line from Onitsuka Tiger. Launched in 2019, The Onitsuka offers timeless designs with exceptional quality; each pair of shoes is handcrafted by Japanese artisans, and the brand uses the finest leathers from Kobe.

After Ong’s illuminating sharing session, guests enjoyed a special fashion show presenting Onitsuka Tiger’s Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection, as well as the latest designs from The Onitsuka. The latter brand’s signature shoes, like the Bit Loafer and the Brogue, have been spruced up with the use of tweed this season.

Later in the evening, guests were invited to discover the craft of The Onitsuka’s creations—while enjoying champagne, canapés and conversation. Below, take a closer look inside the exclusive event.
