Blackpink’s Rosé is now PUMA’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. The brand made the big reveal yesterday (17 June) via its social media handles as well as on its official website.
The brand posted a video starring the 27-year-old star in what seems to be an airport setting as she passes through immigration counters.
Accompanying the video was a fitting caption: “We’re taking off in style. Welcome aboard, Rosé”. In the video, her choice of footwear was none other than the PUMA Palermo, with the fashion icon styling it “in her very own way”.
The brand later dropped various still images of the star in a full PUMA look.
On her latest appointment, Rosé said: “I am so excited to join the PUMA family. I cannot wait for my fans to join my next chapter with PUMA”.
In her role as the brand’s Global Ambassador, she will be “amplifying PUMA’s catalogue of iconic silhouettes and supporting the “Rewrite the Classics” program, according to a media release.
The programme is aimed to celebrate PUMA’s most timeless franchises like the Palermo, Speedcat, amongst others, bringing them into a new generation.
Rosé will now officially join the line of PUMA Sportstyle ambassadors with the likes of Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Dua Lipa, and Skepta.
