Known for their pioneering vision and imaginative take on savoir-faire, Roger Vivier launches their SS23 collection ‘In The Heart Of A Visionary Dream’ helmed by creative director Gherardo Felloni. Inspired by a typical Parisian apartment, this special pop-in will be at the brand’s boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands from now to 4 April, and at Takashimaya from 6 to 18 April.
Resembling an alluring flower garden, the pop-in has been meticulously fashioned by a select group of artisans, and is a must-visit for all lovers of Roger Vivier’s unique take on luxury. Expect the season’s newest offerings to be on display, such as the Belle Vivier Slingback Pumps, Virgule Bow Slingback Pumps and Viv’ Choc bags and more to be on full display.

The new season was first introduced by a campaign video, featuring actresses Camille Razat, Shin Se-Kyung and Coco Rebecca in a Parisian townhouse. There, they delved into the fine art of accessory crafting: the legendary Virgule heel designed by Roger Vivier in 1963, and this season’s dream bag, the Viv’ Choc.
The Virgule heel elegantly balances between stability and sculpture, while at the same time challenging the conventions of traditional heels. From its creation, this ingenious invention revolutionised the fashion industry, significantly influencing a large number of fashion and womenswear designers. In this season, Gherardo Felloni has freshly reinterpreted this design with technical materials that will no doubt continue to influence future collections.
Involving feminine bows and satin, bags bejewelled with gorgeous flower rhinestones and sleek leather, this season was a feat of construction by craftsmen skilled in crystal-setting, embroidery and leather-cutting.

Delicately pumping out notes of pink, yellow, blue and green across the collection, Felloni expertly interfuses floral with highlights of youth and revival.
Felloni asserts that Vivier the designer was an “inventor who changed the world of fashion and the history of accessories.” And this season’s exploration with the floral theme certainly serves as a tribute to the founder’s legacy, showcasing the brand’s innovative spirit and novelty.
