On Wednesday, 6 December, GRAZIA Singapore’s Editor-in-Chief Pakkee Tan hosted an evening of dynamic conversation together with our November Game Changer Calista Liaw for our community of spirited readers and friends at German fashion brand MCM’s Paragon store.
The theme of the casual conversation with Liaw centred around creativity and inspiration, values that are mirrored in MCM’s brand ethos as well. She spoke of getting her start with the erhu, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, pursuing it as an art form, making it relevant and edgy for a new generation and her plans for the coming year.
Guests also got to enjoy a little shopping throughout the evening, perusing the store while getting a preview of the SS24 collection while downing flutes of champagne. In line with the game-changing theme of the evening, 10 per cent of proceeds from the evening went towards local non-profit organisation Daughters of Tomorrow, as chosen by Liaw.
