We are at the last leg of Paris Fashion Week, and the Fall/Winter 2025 season is nearly over. But it’s not over till it’s over—especially when Louis Vuitton has yet to stage their Fall/Winter 2025 presentation. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, who has been at the helm of the maison’s womenswear since 2013, will be presenting his new collection this Tuesday.
For Spring/Summer 2025, Ghesquière presented a show that centred on “soft powers”. Held in the main courtyards at the Louvre Museum in Paris, the runway stage was completely constructed with LV trunks. Guests were invited to travel back in time to visit the Renaissance era, with soft billowing trench coats and sheer embroidered culottes hinting at the romanticism of a bygone era. In his show notes, Ghesquière wrote, “Sartorial soft power can also be a striking back-and-forth between two contradictory yet harmonious opposites.” It was at the same show that Ghesquière unveiled the It-bag of the season: the LV Biker Bag.
Just last week, the French house also announced that it would be (finally) debuting La Beauté Louis Vuitton. With Dame Pat McGrath, DBE as the cosmetics creative director, the beauty division—comprising makeup and fragrances, for now—is poised to be an outstanding piece of the Louis Vuitton puzzle.
Ghesquière’s upcoming collection—with beauty looks created by Dame Pat McGrath, DBE and her team, we’re guessing—will surely be just as exceptional, and will be unveiled very soon. Tomorrow, at 3.00 am (Singapore time), you can catch the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 show live from Paris, via the livestream below.
