Hermès has shared five reasons to look forward to its Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show: a biker jacket in grained leather; a soft robe coat; a pair of black riding boots; a belted leather coat in camel brown; and a Birkin bag, featuring an exterior pouch, crafted from Barenia leather and canvas fabric.
These covetable pieces all appear in a teaser for Hermès’s upcoming collection, which was posted on the French fashion brand’s Instagram page. The collection, which will be unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, will showcase what Hermès’s creative director of women’s ready-to-wear, Nadège Vanhee, thinks that the world’s wealthiest women want to wear today. Vanhee can do so confidently: after all, the designer has proven to have an excellent track record over the last 10 years at the helm of the luxury house.
Last season, Vanhee offered an elegant wardrobe full of biker-inspired pieces and equestrian details: think high-neck leather blouses and dresses with zipper details, knit dresses with studded leather panels, cropped bomber jackets paired with slit midi skirts, and the perfect pants, jackets, and coats, all cut from smooth and supple leather. These pieces are meant to be worn out and about in the city, and Hermès drove the message home by presenting its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, for the second time, in New York.
