After Ancora Rosso comes… Ancora Arancia?

After championing a deep red colour across his Gucci designs, creative director Sabato De Sarno may soon be turning his eyes on a new hue. On Instagram, Gucci has shared photos of sunsets as a teaser to the Italian fashion brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show. One post comes with the caption, “Drawing inspiration from moments in time.”

It has now been a year since De Sarno presented his first Gucci collection. In all that time, the designer has often tied his womenswear collection with his menswear offerings. The Gucci Spring/Summer 2025 men’s show was indeed marked by bold colours—bright green, pink and yes, orange—as well as a boxy cut that appeared on shirts and jackets.

That silhouette has been favoured by women, too. This year, the likes of IU, Alexa Chung and Emma Chamberlain have all worn Gucci’s statement leather jackets and coats when attending the brand’s runway shows. (GRAZIA Singapore cover star Namtan has worn one, too.)

Gucci’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show will be an equally star-studded affair. BTS member Jin—who became Gucci’s global brand ambassador in August—and NewJeans’s Hanni have both been spotted at the airport on their way to Milan Fashion Week.

You, too, can have a front row seat. Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show will take place at 9pm on Friday, 20 September 2024 (Singapore time). Tune in to the Gucci livestream below to get the first glimpse of the new collection by Sabato De Sarno, straight from Milan Fashion Week.
