Greta Lee has no intentions of leaving her incredible red carpet style behind in 2023. Case in point: her latest look, seen at the Golden Globes 2024.
Lee, who starred in the A24 film Past Lives (2023), graced the awards ceremony at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in a custom cream satin gown by Loewe. Adapted from a look from the Spanish luxury brand’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection, Lee’s elegant dress featured a mermaid silhouette and an open back, over which is draped a knotted cape.
The Korean-American actress completed her outfit with subtle jewellery pieces—just a pair of Tiffany & Co earrings and a ring—and Christian Louboutin heels. Her Old Hollywood-inspired bob hairstyle only added to the timeless glamour of her red carpet ensemble.
It’s the latest in the long line of Loewe looks that Lee has been pulling off with flair as ambassador of the fashion brand. Just last December, the star attended the Annual Academy Museum Gala 2023 in a stunning red off-shoulder gown, another custom outfit by Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson. Lee has also proven to be quite the daring dresser, embracing the designer’s more surreal or sculptural creations: see the trompe l’oeil dress she wore to the Loewe Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show, or the pink moulded leather dress that she donned for a screening of Past Lives last year.
Lee is among several celebrities who have been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama at the 81st annual Golden Globes today. Regardless of what the outcome of the awards is, one thing is for sure: she already won the title of best-dressed star on the red carpet.
