Dua Lipa has officially touched down in Singapore, continuing on with her Radical Optimism world tour. And in the ultimate sartorial balancing act, she posted some selfies from her adventures that showed her sporting a head-turning look that simultaneously hit both extremes of the cosy spectrum.
The first unexpected element of her outfit was a unique clip she used to keep her hair out of her face. Designed by German-based creative Corrina Goutos, the piece is made from a recycled old lighter and still boasts its original parts.
On the softer side of the look, she wore a cropped red tank by LA-based designer Leeann Huang, which featured whipped cream and cherry graphics, paired with pyjama-style striped cotton pants that looked suitably breezy for the balmy weather. But instead of following the conventional line of thinking, the songstress threw us for a loop with her edgier accessories.
While most of us exploring a new city would opt for a tote or backpack to lug around our travel essentials, Lipa, 29, threw caution to the wind with Ludovic de Saint Sernin‘s mini ‘The Cleavage’ bag. What it lacks in room, though, it makes up for in design with retro lace-up detailing and eyelets on the short strap.
Instead of comfortable sneakers to traverse the city streets, she opted for dramatically spiked stilettos from Abra Paris that featured a pointed vamp, hardware hearts and a crossover strap.
While we wouldn’t recommend the shoes for everyday wear, they certainly bring a prickly edge to even the softest outfits. And it really wouldn’t be a Dua Lipa outfit without an element of intrigue.
