What can top a fashion show venue like Lake Como? Apparently, Singapore—which is where Chanel will be staging a repeat fashion show for its Cruise 2026 collection later this year.
The French luxury brand explained the choice of its upcoming show location in an official statement, saying, “A dynamic and multicultural city, Singapore stands as a unique gateway to Asia. This destination renowned for its connection to culture and luxury boasts a harmonious blend of heritage, youthful modernity and energy, that resonates deeply with the values of the house.”
This won’t be the first time that Chanel has presented a fashion show in Singapore. Back in 2013, the late creative director Karl Lagerfeld staged Chanel’s Cruise 2014 fashion show at the Loewen Cluster on Dempsey Hill.
Chanel will make its return to Singapore on 4 November 2025, although the exact show location hasn’t been announced. Chanel’s Cruise 2026 collection is inspired by luxurious hotel life—the opening look was a tweed bathrobe—and was presented in early May at the opulent Villa d’Este along Lake Como. Chanel will likely tie its Singapore runway show back to the collection’s inspirations—so maybe the show will be held in one of the city’s five-star hotels?
Stay tuned to find out.
