The Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria presentation was the third and final installment of the eponymous label’s homage to Southern Italian traditions. Spotlighting Italy’s wealth of creativity and culture against the backdrop of Puglia, the presentation was met with the usual slew of celebrity appearances, as per previous years’s Heidi Klum, Doja Cat and mainstay VIP, Dame Helen Mirren. Following the couture celebration kick-off with a classic show of Italian hospitality, complete with performances from Diana Ross and Giuliano Peparini, A-listers in attendance of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s menswear high tailoring showcase stood out against the limewashed backdrop of the ‘White City’ of Ostuni, thanks to the theatrics of definitive D&G dressing.
Alessandro Ambrosio stole the spotlight with a sheer negligee moment, while singer Anitta embodied a look worthy of Kourtney Kardashian’s “wedding country“ wrath. Meanwhile, newly inaugurated ambassador Doyoung was sure to rep the brand’s latest Alta Gioielleria creations, contrast against a white crochet set.
