PP Krit has been spotted in Paris ahead of the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show. Whether the Thai actor will be gracing the presentation as a front row guest or a runway model is anyone’s guess. But that’s Balenciaga for you: you never quite know what to expect.
So far, the French fashion brand has offered few clues about what its Paris Fashion Week presentation will offer. It has teased its upcoming fashion show with pictures of a label stand and a steel cloche—objects you would spot in a restaurant. To throw us off even more, the brand also posted an image of a Balenciaga-branded mint box. Make of these antics—which have creative director Demna’s fingerprints all over them—what you will.
As for the collection itself, Demna will likely give Balenciaga fans more of what they love: draped gowns, larger-than-life jackets, statement coats, graphic T-shirts and hoodies, chunky sneakers, and leather bags, all with touches of edginess, irony, and a DIY spirit.
Demna has hardly strayed from his design signatures at the helm of Balenciaga, in spite of whatever surprising ways the designer decides to showcase his collections. That much was clear at the first Balenciaga fashion show in China held last May, which was presented at night, in the rain, against the skyline of Shanghai’s skyscrapers. PP Krit walked for the show—making his runway debut—while Balenciaga ambassador Michelle Yeoh, The Boyz star Juyeon and South Korean actress Roh Yoon-Seo watched from the front row.
