A weekend well-spent is a delicate balancing act. There is the tantalising promise of washing away the week’s stress and letting loose—but one can’t overlook the power of slowing down and taking a breath.
This weekend, GRAZIA Singapore invites you to discover the art of balance with us. Release your inhibitions at an underground DJ set, then reset your system with a wellness-inspired matcha rave. Experience a galvanising blend of new and old with exhibitions honouring Singapore and an iconic British brand. Make the most of your end-of-week reprieve by experiencing the entire spectrum of what Singapore has to offer.
Friday Night: Get Your Blood Pumping With Jyoty’s Electrifying Beats

The underground scene’s resident cool girl is back in Singapore and ready to party. Dutch-Indian DJ sensation Jyoty is bringing her world tour to MDLR this Friday, promising an electric experience. Jyoty’s genre-defying musical style and ability to gauge a crowd to spin the perfect mix lend an air of exclusivity to all her sets—you’ll walk away feeling like you were part of a select few cool kids who are in the know. If you manage to snag tickets (and move fast, because Jyoty gigs have been known to sell out), expect an electrifying confluence of music, culture and pure enjoyment.
The Jyoty: Asia Tour 2025 will be held on 1 August at MDLR, 62 Cecil Street, #02-00, Singapore 049710.
Saturday Afternoon: Wash Away Last Night’s Sins With Morning Matcha
Who says raves can’t be rejuvenating? Community and wellness are paramount at this sun-soaked celebration, all without compromising on the vibes or beats. Good Rave at SUN(RISE) invites you to seize the morning on your own terms with their matcha rave and breakfast. Your itinerary can be as serene or hectic as you like. Start by hitting the dance floor, relax on sprawling Dempsey lawns, get creative at hands-on workshops, and be sure to test out the dedicated matcha bar and fresh bakes. DJs will be spinning sets throughout, and should you feel peckish come noon, book yourself in for a spot of lunch at Air and check out their acclaimed tasting menu.
A Good Rave at SUN(RISE) takes place on 2 August at AIR CCCC, 25B Dempsey Road, Singapore 249918.
Saturday Night: Take A Stroll Through Singapore’s Pop Culture History

Our Little Red Dot turns 60 next weekend, and the ArtScience Museum is marking the special occasion with a look back at Singapore’s vibrant pop culture history. Curated by Dick Lee, SingaPop! shines in its attention to detail, putting the spotlight on a number of local quirks and idiosyncrasies that we might overlook in our daily lives. The dynamic multimedia exhibition does indeed pop off the screen and into your psyche, and will leave you with a revived appreciation for Singapore’s unique character and “rojak spirit”.
SingaPop! 60 Years Of Singapore Pop Culture runs from 2 August to 28 December at the ArtScience Museum, 6 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018974.
Sunday Afternoon: Celebrate Heritage And A Spritz Of Whimsy With Penhaligon’s

Penhaligon’s is inviting us to take a peek behind the curtain of olfactory craft and heritage this weekend. The iconic perfume house is celebrating its impressive 155-year-long history with a limited-time retrospective exhibition in Singapore. Eau So British traces the house’s evolution with archival displays and interactive installations, perfectly capturing the British heritage and touches of humour and eccentricity that have come to define Penhaligon’s. Attendees can expect to test the brand’s iconic fragrances (our personal favourite is the spicy gourmand Changing Constance) as well as appreciate the craftsmanship and thought behind every spritz.
Penhaligon’s exhibition Eau So British runs from 2–3 August at Artblue Studio, 23 Yong Siak Street, Singapore 168652.
Sunday Night: Sip In Style With Lobby Bar’s Revamped Cocktail Menu

If you thought The Singapore Edition’s Lobby Bar, with its fuchsia velvet accents and hot pink marble pool table, couldn’t get any more distinctive—you were mistaken. Lobby Bar recently unveiled its revamped cocktail menu with 14 exclusive new creations. Guests can choose from lighter tipples like the Out of Office, an effervescent combination of rum, elderflower, and peppermint, or reinventions of spirit-forward classics like the negroni-esque Caviaroni. The menu places each drink beside an illustrated portrait of a character representing the bar’s diverse clientele, from whom the drinks draw inspiration. So don an outfit that channels your inner eccentricities, make your way over to this iconic space, and who knows—you might make it into their next list of creations.
Lobby Bar is located at The Singapore Edition, 38 Cuscaden Road, Singapore 249731.
