It seems North West has inherited Kim Kardashian’s expensive taste in handbags if recent photos of the budding fashion darling are anything to go by.
Accompanying her family on a trip to Japan, the nine-year-old took a cue from her mum Kim by making the streets of Tokyo her runway. Leaning into all the country has to offer, West was spotted carrying an array of quirky designer bags—totalling a staggering $8,000.
In a photo shared by Kim on Instagram, the eldest Kardashian-West offspring wears an all-pink getup and sports pastel-hued braids—a look that her mother similarly employed during a 2019 trip to the country.

Notably, she’s seen holding up a crystal-embellished Judith Lieber X Hello Kitty clutch valued at $1,336 while visiting the Sanrio Puroland theme park with her family. She also tried out the double bag trend, simultaneously wearing a Hello Kitty Olympia Tan crossbody shaped like a milk carton that reportedly retailed for $1,790.
A loyal daughter, she completes the look with white foam runners from her dad Kanye West’s Yeezy brand.

Her outfit consisted of an oversized t-shirt, cinched by a belt bag, flared trousers in a psychedelic print and platform thongs. She accessorised with pink sunglasses and a 2005 Prada Crystal Re-edition bag which retails for $5,100.
But these glitzy bags are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to West’s handbag collection. While the video was swiftly taken down by Kim out of security concerns, the nine-year-old once took to TikTok to show off her staggering accessories wardrobe.
Though it was only a glimpse, viewers could clearly see the likes of Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and plenty of crystal-adorned purses.

Being the daughter of a billionaire may cement her life as one unfazed by work, but that hasn’t stopped entrepreneur Kim from getting ahead of business opportunities for her daughter.
According to reports by The Sun, Kardashian recently applied for four trademarks in North’s name: two for advertising services and entertainment, another for a toy brand, and one for a skincare line spanning moisturisers, creams, cleansers, serums, oils, bubble bath, fragrance, hair care, and body wash.
Since the pre-teen is already known to share tips on her TikTok, a North West beauty brand doesn’t feel out of the question.
