The movie is guaranteed to be a hit when it’s directed by Mark Waters, the creative mind behind classic chick flicks such as He’s All That, Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. The story follows Lana, the mother of the bride, whose world gets flipped upside down when her daughter Emma makes a shocking announcement: she’s getting married next month in Thailand. But that’s not all, Emma’s fiance happens to be the son of Lana’s ex-boyfriend, adding more complication to an already rocky situation.
