Grounded by the idea of connection, Mandala Club, a private members’ club discreetly tucked away in the ultra‑trendy Bukit Pasoh enclave, has on its 25,000‑square‑feet premises everything that would foster it among its members who range from creatives to entrepreneurs and business and thought leaders: a gym, top‑notch dining options, elevated spaces dedicated to specialised experiences (think intimate wine and cocktail masterclasses), and more.

Its very name—the word “mandala” means “circle” in Sanskrit—speaks of its intent to create what it calls “a community of communities”; an “affiliated collective of places and spaces created for a discerning, sophisticated and astute group”. And this it does through not just its physical spaces—warm and inviting with a homely feel, the mid‑century modernist interiors are prime for social interactions—but also its social and cultural calendar for members, which have included landmark dining concepts with top chefs from restaurants such as Mirazur and Gaggan.

While it is supportive of all forms of the creative arts, the club seems to have a special affinity for art—the property is peppered with works that the aesthetes will surely appreciate. Keen‑eyed art aficionados will definitely note the newest additions: a pair of sculptures by New York‑based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham that is inspired by modern Singapore’s founding father, Lee Kuan Yew. The club also regularly hosts exclusive events such as artist talks held in collaboration with major local programmes like the Singapore Art Week and the Singapore Writers Festival.

To further enable meaningful connections, and thereby grow its community of like‑minded people, Mandala Club has expanded beyond both its Bukit Pasoh home and our shores. Cue Haus 65, a lounge space co‑curated with Mandarin Oriental, Singapore that sits on the 21st floor of the hotel and has fine wine at its core, and Mandala Club Niseko, a two‑storey ski‑in, ski‑out clubhouse in the heart of Niseko Village in Hokkaido, Japan, that plays host to the club’s skiing community. The club is also set to bring its top‑of‑class hospitality to the beachfront district of Canggu in Bali, Indonesia, with Mandala Club Bali slated to open in the first half of this year.
