Most of May is dominated by the fixed Earth sign of Taurus. Energies are practical, efficient, and inclined towards physical indulgence. Sensual Venus, ruler of Taurus, conjuncts dreamy Neptune in Aries on 3 May: great for a romantic date, a day at the spa, or both! Dramatic Pluto then begins its annual retrograde in resilient Aquarius on 4 May till mid October. This retrograde sets the stage for personal evolution: clear out old mindsets and begin to think in new ways about how you can empower yourself in today’s world. May the Force be with you!
Communicative Mercury enters Taurus on 10 May, where conversations take a more pragmatic turn. A Full Moon in Scorpio follows up on 13 May: intuitive abilities are heightened, and new or hidden information may be revealed, so keep your eyes and ears open. Whatever decision you make, especially regarding investments, avoid taking on new commitments on 18 May: the Sun conjuncts unpredictable Uranus on that day and could create unexpected developments.
