This January, let’s ease into 2025 with fresh new shows streaming on Netflix and Disney+!

If you’re in the mood for romance, When The Stars Gossip and XO, Kitty teases a sweet and heartfelt romance that would leave you emotional or giggling and curling your toes. But if you’re looking to satisfy your craving for thrill and adventure, Alien: Romulus and Unmasked should be right up your alley. We’ve made a list for you to read down below.

Single’s Inferno: Season 4

For the eager fans of the hit series, Single’s Inferno, you’ll be excited to know that the show is about to come back with a fourth season on Netflix. With even higher stakes of romance and intense bouts of drama, the show is expected to keep fans on their toes. The show will also feature a batch of fresh faces in their search for love whilst escaping to paradise. Fans can expect yet another batch of hot singles on inferno…Are you ready for it?

Season 4 of Single’s Inferno will be available on Netflix from 14 January.

When The Stars Gossip

Starring Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin, the Netflix original Korean drama is a must-watch this January. The highly anticipated series is expected to bring the audience through a stellar adventure in space and romance, redefining the Korean drama genre. The series follows Lee, who plays space tourist Gong Ryong, and Gong, who plays astronaut Commander Eve Kim, as they break through the challenges of completing their secret missions on the road less travelled.

Alien: Romulus

Nominated for the 2025 Golden Globes Award in Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, Alien: Romulus, is the latest installment of the successful Alien franchise. The movie stars Cailee Spaeny, David Johnson, and Isabela Merced as a group of young colonists. The movie takes place on an uncharted territory in space whilst the group suspensefully encounter the terrifying entity that started it all.

Alien: Romulus is now available to watch on Disney+.

Unmasked

For those who enjoy a little mystery, the upcoming Disney+ original Unmasked is centred around a group of investigative journalists following a mystery trail involving the disappearance of a famous 20-year-old actor. Journey on with the cast—Kim Hye-soo, Jung Sung-il, and Joo Jong-hyuk—as they venture through a series of political controversies and criminally-engaged puzzles, saving their careers from jeopardy.

The Netflix original series Unmasked will be available for streaming on Disney+ from 15 January.

XO, Kitty

The upcoming season of the beloved Jenny Han series— XO, Kitty— has been scheduled to appear on your screens through Netflix! Reprising her role as Kitty Song-Covey, Anna Cathcart stars alongside her co-stars—Choi Min-yeong and Gia Kim—as they untangle their high school romance in a new semester at KISS. The spin-off series also teased fans with a cameo from Noah Centineo, who’s been stealing hearts as Peter Kavinsky in To All The Boys I Loved Before.

XO, Kitty will be available for streaming on Netflix from 16 January.
