It’s 20 December, and Christmas is steadily inching closer and closer. And if you’re a bit of a last-minute shopper—just like I am—, you may be deep in the depths of your stress at this point. Don’t worry, though. Here, we’ve gathered some easy last-minute gifts that work pretty much for everyone. Mighty but meaningful, these ideas work for most personality types. No need to analyse their Instagram feed any longer to look for half-baked gift ideas.

Another thing we love about these gifts? They are all from homegrown labels here in Singapore. This festive season, why not gift a meaningful present to someone you care about, while supporting a local small business? Two birds with one present.

Sahur’s Art

Founded by local beauty content creator Sahur Saleim, Sahur’s Art is an independent beauty brand that focuses on creating inclusive, skin-friendly products. From dual-sided colourful eyeliners to the newly launched Glow Up Cushion Highlight, all products from Sahur’s Art are vegan and cruelty-free, and make great pocket additions to anyone’s vanity. Personally, my recommendation would be the brand’s Pearl Dewy Lip Tint, which adds a touch of glamorous gloss, while leaving a delicate stain on the lips for longer-lasting colour.

Visit the new Sahur’s Art flagship store at Plaza Singapura or online here.

Ele Tea

Forget everything you thought you knew about teas. Ele Tea, created by local actress Valnice Yek, has reinvented age-old traditions. Utilising ingredient blends and healing properties familiar to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ele Tea highlights the importance of prioritising one’s health in the most wholesome way. The local tea company has three proprietary blends—for detoxing, immunity-boosting and sleep—and each delivers comfort in a cup. Drinking tea is not just a way to cut down on excessive caffeine intake, but it also acts as a form of self-care.

Morning Coffee

If you’re not yet ready to bid goodbye to your coffee, you should at least ensure you’re drinking good coffee. With Morning’s diverse range of speciality coffee capsules (which can be used in tandem with the Morning coffee machine or most Nespresso models), you can craft your own café-at-home experience in the new year. The team at Morning travels the world, trawling for interesting blends and beans from breweries and shops, so you can always start your mornings right.

P.S. if you’ve been hesitant to purchase the Morning coffee machine, why not consider the Morning Mini instead? This sleek machine comes in a more compact build, so you don’t need to worry about cluttering your kitchen tabletop.

Kāi

When it comes to new year’s resolutions, one of the biggest struggles we face is the inability to keep to them. But with this mindfulness daily planner from Kāi—founded by fashion and lifestyle content creator Christabel Chua—, becoming a better version of yourself in 2025 isn’t going to be as challenging. Filled with thoughtful prompting questions and tools for organisation, this planner will not only organise your daily life but your thoughts as well. Journal and reflect after each day or simply doodle to destress. The personal planner comes in three colours: a sleek black, a sweet pink and vibrant matcha green.
