The fourth instalment of Netflix’s hot favourite dating programme, Single’s Inferno (2021-2025), is finally here. Its previous three seasons have set pretty high standards in terms of conceptualisation, cast, and production. Naturally, the fourth season does not disappoint. If you’re not acquainted with this dating reality show, here’s the deal: contestants go through several missions and choose a partner to escape inferno—a seemingly deserted island where they bond and play games together.
If they mutually choose each other, they spend a night in paradise, a luxury hotel, with the contestant of their choice. As far as the first few episodes are concerned, the new season stars a total of 11 contestants: five guys and six ladies. Below, get to know the contestants and their Instagram handles.
Lee Si-An
You may have seen the former idol trainee on similar survival shows like Produce 48 and Idol School. Since then, the 25-year-old went on to carve her own path in the modelling industry.
Chung You-Jin
Chung You-Jin left a lasting impression on viewers with her appearance on 2 Days 1 Night. Now 28, she balances a career as a professional dancer while pursuing a master’s degree at Ewha Woman’s University.
Kim Min-Seol
Kim Min-Seol does it all. At just 22, she gained national recognition by winning South Korea’s prestigious Miss Chunhyang beauty pageant.
Bae Ji-Yeon
Bae Ji-Yeon made her first appearance in Korean singer Jaeha’s music video for Hidden Catch. Now at 25, she’s modelled for several Korean brands.
Kim Hye-Jin
Single’s Inferno definitely has more than one beauty queen. The 27-year-old participant gained recognition as the winner of the 2020 Miss Korea pageant.
Kim A-Rin
Kim A-Rin isn’t just making waves on Single’s Inferno. She’s also the face behind a successful YouTube channel, where she shares content on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
Kim Tae-Hwan
Kim Tae-Hwan has a few notches on his belt. He first achieved his big break in Chinese web series My Amazing Boyfriend and has since been featured in K-dramas like The Bride of Habaek and Love Class.
Kook Dong-Ho
Kook Dong-Ho adopts an air of mystery. He is currently a graduate from Korea University, one of South Korea’s most prestigious universities.
Theo Jang
Theo Jang is definitely one to watch. Following his role as the male lead in Malaysian film Oppa, the 31-year-old received the Best Foreign Language Film Actor award at the Asia International Film Festival in 2024. He has also made appearance as supporting roles in K-dramas like The King of Tears: Lee Bang, A Man A Veil, and Romance Talking.
Kim Jeong-Su
Kim Jeong-Su is not just a skilled chef but also a successful entrepreneur. He owns five thriving cafes and bakeries, including Haerye Coffee, a popular spot nestled in Seoul.
Yuk Jun-Seo
Yuk Jun-Seo is the definition of a multi-hyphenate talent. Being a former member of the Republic of Korea Navy’s Underwater Demolition Team, the 28-year-old also showcased his acting skills in 2 seasons of K-drama Sweet Home.
Like every season of Single’s Inferno, this one may also introduce new contestants to shake things up and add excitement to the dynamics. Since only four episodes have been released so far, we’ll have to wait and see whether new members will join the group and how their relationships unfold.
