The Como Group’s very first hotel here, the 156‑key Como Metropolitan Singapore is situated in the heart of the city and occupies 11 floors of the 19‑storey Como Orchard, the group’s latest venture billed as a one‑stop lifestyle destination. Done up in a neutral palette and featuring natural materials such as wood, the hotel boasts the contemporary elegance and purposeful design that characterise the group’s properties worldwide. Head to the 19th floor for a dip in its infinity pool or just to chill at the Sky Bar while taking in the skyline.
Up for some pampering? Como Shambhala, located on Level 4 of the same building, is where you want to be—at 9,000 square feet, it is the group’s largest urban flagship wellness centre to date and is designed by Paola Navone of Milan‑based design firm Otto Studio. Here, you can embark on a wellness journey that includes elevated spa experiences—a hyperbaric oxygen therapy session, anyone?—pilates classes, recovery therapy and more. Those looking for a spot of retail therapy can hit the on‑site branch of multi‑label store Club21, while foodies can indulge in some excellent dining, with Korean steakhouse Cote’s first international outpost on Level 3 and celebrated French pastry chef Cédric Grolet’s first Asian outpost on Level 1.
