Can a cup of joe transport one to Milan? Tastemaker Chiara Ferragni says yes. In partnership with Nespresso, the fashion designer looks inward to her Italian origins in co-creating her coffee collection. Trust Ferragni to refashion caffeine—infusing delicate inspirations from Milan’s vibrancy and style, the limited release is her love letter to the city. From her choice of coffee blend to the co-designed patterned packaging, her direction is palpable in the collection.

On her second collection with the Swiss-native coffee giant, Ferragni comments: “My love of coffee and Italy knows no limits, so I jumped at the chance to collaborate again with my dear Nespresso family to co-develop this limited-edition collection. The new range has been inspired by the creativity and rich culture of Milan, and I am so excited to bring to life such great tasting coffee with beautiful accessories and machine for coffee lovers to enjoy wherever they are.”
An authentic love letter to her current city of residence, Ferragni also delivers a delightful coffee pairing in the form of a four-part video series. To accentuate the collaboration’s Milano musings, she stars alongside renowned historian Filippo Cosmelli in trailing Rome’s coffee culture hotspots and institutions that influenced her direction. Catch Italian heritage in motion as Ferragni walks through Palazzo Montedoria, Duomo Cathedral and architect Piero Portaluppi’s Milan Villa Necchi, key influences behind her design ethos for her partnership.

The new range leverages Italian flavours and coffee traditions, and takes shape as an expansion to Nespresso’s 2023 Ispirazione Italian range. Culminating in a new roast profile, Milano Intenso, accessories, and a coffee machine, Ferragni’s touch delivers a tasteful tribute to the contemporary beat of Milan. Expect jammy, fruity elements and a shimmer of spice atop cocoa and cereal notes in Ferragni’s selected split-roast blend. And FYI, its combination of medium-roast and dark-roast Robusta makes for a great cappuccino.
To really spoil coffee aficionados, the collaborative collection also includes a limited run of accessories like the sleek gold Touch Travel Mug (S$32), a pair of matte black and gold espresso cups (S$42), and an uber-chic Nespresso CitiZ coffee machine (S$359) to welcome your daily dose of caffeine on a fashionable high. Nespresso’s Ispirazione Italiana coffee range is available individually at S$1.05 apiece, or in a set of 50 coffee capsule assortments in the limited edition design sleeve wrap (S$43.80). Additionally, if you’re eyeing the sleek CitiZ coffee machine, a minimum purchase of three sleeves entitles you to 25% off, till April 4th (or while stocks last).
The collection is available for purchase online, and in Nespresso boutiques islandwide.
