Every week, GRAZIA Singapore rounds up the latest happenings in pop culture, so you never miss a beat. And this week, it’s clear that the world of luxury jewellery was buzzing, with two major events in Seoul and one taking place in New York. Without a doubt, some of our favourite Korean celebrities were invited to grace the events, and grace, they did.

Ahead, we discuss the major luxe events that happened this week, and future events you can look forward to. Hint: a beloved rookie boyband will be making their way to Singapore this September!

Twice’s Jihyo And TXT’s Yeonjun at Fred’s Force 10 Pop-up

When it comes to the glitz and glam of being a celebrity, nothing is quite like being invited to grace events held by major players in the game. This week, Twice’s Jihyo and TXT’s Yeonjun both attended Fred Joailier’s Force 10 pop-up event in Seoul. Glistening in full-white numbers and clad in the French maison’s bijoux, the K-pop stars show how simplicity can shine bright.

Bella Hadid Launches Ôrebella

The supermodel officially launched Ôrebella this week, after keeping us on the hook for the last couple of years. The fragrance label has a focus on essential oil-infused perfumes—sans alcohol, of course, as is common practice in the scent world these days. With the exciting new launch of Ôrebella, Hadid has launched three fragrances: Window2Soul, Salted Muse and Blooming Fire. Of the trio, Salted Muse piques our interest most, for its sea salt and pink pepper notes, grounded by notes of fig, lavender and cedarwood. Don’t be disappointed that the perfumes only ship to the US for now; the 27-year-old may soon be stocking them in Ultas across the country, so you can try the scents out before you add to cart.

FKA Twigs Launches Her Own Deepfake

In the ongoing conversations about AI and celebrity culture (with too many stories floating around on the internet about fake identities and impersonations), British singer-songwriter and performer FKA Twigs has decided to get ahead of the game. Earlier this week, she spoke to the US Senate about regulating the use of AI, to protect artists and their work, and that artists should have full control over the use of their likeness.

During the hearing, Twigs shared that she had spent the past year developing her own deepfake version of herself to interact with fans. This would allow her more time to work on her music career (which fans are saying deserves a big update!). Her deepfake counterpart is trained to behave exactly in Twigs’s personality and can also speak many languages, broadening the reach that the British artist has with her global audience.

ZEROBASEONE Is Coming To Singapore

Rookie K-pop boy band ZEROBASEONE will be making their way to Singapore this September! The nine-piece boy group, which debuted from the Mnet survival programme Boys Planet, is taking their first world tour to our sunny island later this year. Aptly titled The First Tour, the boys of ZEROBASEONE, comprising Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun-wook and Han Yu-jin, are set to perform on 28 September at the Singapore Indoor Stadium right after the group’s three Seoul shows. Though the group just debuted last year, the nonet already swept music award shows early this year, taking home many titles in spite of their rookie status.

Korean Stars At Cartier’s High Jewelry Gala in Seoul

The jewellery world was busy this past week. Cartier held an exclusive event in Seoul this week, with major stars and friends of the house in attendance. Of the glitterati, eyes were definitely on Blackpink’s Jisoo and Stray Kids’s Hyunjin, who showed up to impress. And of course, we didn’t forget about Korean actors Bae Doona, Go Soo and Teo Yoo, who found international acclaim after his leading role in the slow-burn romance film Past Lives.

Tiffany & Co. Launched Titan Collection With Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams just took a massive leap into the world of luxury with his new collection with Tiffany & Co. And to celebrate the launch of the Tiffany Titan, which draws inspiration from Poseidon’s trident, friends of the house were invited to an exclusive preview of the beautiful pieces in New York. Among the special guests were Rosé from Blackpink, who opted for a sweet baby pink mini dress for the occasion, alongside the sparkly new creations by Williams.
