It looks like Jisoo is back in the dating pool following a split from Ahn Bo-hyun.

Back in August, the Blackpink starlet’s agency publicly announced that she and the South Korean actor were dating. Given the rumours that many K-Pop agencies enforce a ‘dating ban’ on their talent, the news caught fans off-guard.

“Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun are getting to know each other with good feelings,” YG Entertainment shared at the time. “We would appreciate it if you watched over them warmly.”

Bo-hyun’s agency, FN Entertainment, released a strikingly similar statement, telling CNN, “The two are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze.”

But in sad news, YG Entertainment has now confirmed that the pair have parted ways. “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up,” they told Soompi this week.

According to an insider who spoke to JTBC Entertainment News, conflicting schedules got in the way. “Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun’s relationship naturally became distant due to their busy schedules, and they recently broke up,” said the source. While Bo-hun is focused on his burgeoning acting career, Jisoo is working on her solo music.

During their time together,  Jisoo, 28, and Bo-hyun, 35, never publicly mentioned each other, nor did they post one another on social media.  In fact, the only evidence of them spending time together came in the form of photos obtained by Dispatch, which show Bo-hyun, who starred in Netflix’s Itaewon Class, spending time at Jisoo’s Yongsan apartment in Seoul.

Unlike her girl group members, Jennie and Lisa, Jisoo hasn’t been romantically connected to anyone else since finding fame. With such a hectic schedule, including a recent seven-month-long world tour across Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania, we’re sure finding the time to date is a bit of a struggle.
