At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.
Here, radio announcer Izleen Izham (aka fifi or @izleenizham) lists down some of her lasts.
The last beauty product I finished was the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser ($64). I’ve heard that this cleanser broke some people out but I’ve personally loved it for the longest time.
It takes off all my makeup and makes my skin feel so clean and fresh! I’ve been using it for four years but I’ve recently switched out to the new Dr.Jart+ Pore-Remedy Renewing Foam Cleanser!
The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the application of a setting spray and powder before applying foundation!
I truly love it. It completely conceals my pores and keeps my foundation lasting for hours! Get yourself the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder ($56) for this! Works absolutely beautifully.
The last beauty product I bought was the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer ($52). I’m so grateful that most of my products were sent over for me to try out but I have yet to receive bronzers.
So, guys, anytime!
The last beauty product I bought again was the Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum ($112). This serum is what I like to call the Hydration Station. I’ve brought it on my trips abroad where the weather is cold and dry, and my skin really drank this up.
The last beauty product I made my holy grail was Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Multi-Recovery Complex ($249). I’ve been using it every night for two weeks since I received it and my skin texture has improved.
And it makes all my other serums absorb so much better!
The last beauty product I was gifted someone was the Wardah Colorfit Perfect Glow Cushion ($12.90). Let’s not sleep on the brand because it is amazing!
I had the pleasure to receive the entire shade range and got to gift my friends a compact each as their shade range is impeccable!
The last beauty product that truly impressed me was the Dr.Jart+ Pore-Remedy Renewing Foam Cleanser ($41). You need less than a pea size amount and it takes off all your makeup without stripping the skin.
I absolutely love this cleanser!
The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was a PICO Laser treatment at Bright Clinic. It’s been amazing for my skin texture which includes skin laxity.
I said goodbye to my stubborn dark spots and felt like all my serums absorbed so much better than it did before.
The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration is Instagram. I’m constantly on it taking in all the beauty content it has to offer.
The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was to never skip skincare before applying makeup! The base is the most important part!
