"I know it’s an old TikTok trend but I couldn’t bring myself to try it till recently."

At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.

Here, musician Abbey (@abbeypuppey) lists down some of her lasts.

The last beauty product I finished was Supergoop!’s Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF 50 ($52). I got this in a PR drop and did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did! It’s also a fairly good makeup base before applying foundation.

For makeup, it was the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($48). This is a crowd favourite for a long time for many reasons like how it’s so pretty and comfortable on the skin.

The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the use of setting powder before foundation for a more “airbrushed” looking base. I know it’s an old TikTok trend but I couldn’t bring myself to try it till recently. [laughs] Can’t say that it will be added to my routine, though.

The last beauty product I bought was the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm ($98). It’s my third time topping it up. It can even be used as a nourishing mask because of the luxurious face oils in its formula and I’m a fan of this brand’s products!

For makeup, it was the KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Concealer ($45) because it’s a must-try!

The last beauty product I bought again was the REFY Beauty Lip Sculpt (£18) and a whole bunch of other REFY products. Your girl dropped over GBP300.

The last beauty product I made my holy grail was M.A.C Cosmetics’s Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation ($47.50) which looks good on camera and even if you’re taking a photo with harsh flash.

I also bought Makeup By Mario’s Master Mattes® Eyeshadow Palette ($85) and would highly recommend it to beginners because the shades are flattering, the pigments are the right amount of buildable, and it’s very easy to use!

The last beauty product I gifted someone was REFY Beauty’s Lip Sculpt. I lent this to a friend to try as she ran out of her current lipliner. She loved it so I bought one for her in the same shade!

The last beauty product that truly impressed me was when I rediscovered SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence ($132) after a year of not using it as I wanted to save some money and also, give other products a try. I dare say after a year of trying other essences, nothing beats it.

Still, I’m open to finding the next best thing and the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum VI ($125) that I recently tried is really nice.

The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was Profhilo after years of its hype. I had it done under the good hands of Dr Tan from Mizu Aesthetics.

The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration was Rayan on Instagram! I randomly saw her picture on my explore feed and became obsessed with her hair and look. I think she’s absolutely stunning.

I’ve been toying with the idea of finally having big hair too because I have very curly hair and have been doing hair straightening treatments since I was young.

The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was to draw an eyeliner style that gives the appearance of the outer area of the eye being extended.
