At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.

Here, the general manager of SocietyA Lily Hamid (@lilyhamid) lists down some of her lasts.

The last beauty product I finished was the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation ($97). My shade is B30!

The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the clean girl makeup trend where I put more emphasis on my skincare and wear lightweight makeup on regular days to allow my skin to breathe, but still look fresh.

This has been great, especially with the hot weather we’ve been having in Singapore. After my morning skincare routine, I apply a few dots of concealer and foundation across my face. I next apply a gentle coloured blush on my cheeks and eyelids before applying black liquid eyeliner and enhancing my brows. Next, I apply lip colour and am good to go!

The last beauty product I bought was yet another Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($39) as I’m obsessed!

The last beauty product I bought again was a holy grail that I will buy time and time again. It’s the Mood Natural Deodorant by Coconut Matter ($28.05). The brand has educated me so much about sweat and body odour, and how many deodorants and antiperspirants in the market are clogging our pit pores and causing more odours to develop.

Sweat doesn’t naturally smell, and only when it interacts with bacteria on our clothes and skin, does an odour develop.

The last beauty product you gifted someone was the Hera Brow Designer Auto Pencil ($20.36) that I gifted a friend after stocking up on my own Hera beauty supplies when I was last in Seoul this March.

The last beauty product that truly impressed me was Fenty Beauty’s Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain ($39) which applies with ease, and non-drying and gives such a wonderful flush of colour.

The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was a pedicure! I don’t spend much on beauty services but treat myself to massages and pedicures every now and then to unwind, enjoy the quiet time, and revel in well-trimmed cuticles and painted nails after.

The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration was a picture of Isabela Grutman’s as I’m in love with her aesthetic—her fashion choices, as well as her make-up style. Her skin and make-up style is flawless. I like how she focuses on keeping her skin looking healthy, keeping her brows natural, and enhancing them with natural hues, highlights and contours.

The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was to mix a few drops of their favourite face oil into their moisturiser when in need of an extra boost of hydration. This is great as a sleeping mask and you’ll wake up with plump, hydrated skin.
