At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.
Here, entrepreneur Sheena Phua (@sheenaphua) lists down some of her lasts.
The last beauty product I finished was La Mer’s Crème De La Mer Moisturizer ($625) as it feels luxurious on the skin. I sleep with air-conditioning so I love applying it before bed and waking up to very moisturised skin. No wonder it’s a cult favourite!
The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($39). What can I say? TikTok made me buy it! I really like the soft, powdery liquid consistency that blends so well to achieve that ever-coveted, melts-right-in finish.
The last beauty product I bought was the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour 58 ($62). It wears like a second skin and I love how it’s highly pigmented for an intense and long-lasting luminous finish to last through date nights.
The last beauty product I bought again was Chanel Coco Noir Eau de Parfum ($280 for 100ml). I was drawn to the aesthetics of the bottle when I first received it as a gift as I’m a sucker for packaging. The scent grew on me as it makes me feel sexy!
The last beauty product I made a holy grail was Clé de Peau’s Radiant Cream Foundation ($210). It gives me a luminous and flawless coverage with a silky, dewy finish. It’s a skincare-meets-makeup hybrid that your face will thank you for!
The last beauty product I gifted someone was the Hermès Beauty Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick in 20 – Beige D’Automn ($116). It’s highly pigmented and is a very wearable warm shade that can not go wrong! One of my favourite everyday lipsticks.
The last beauty product that truly impressed me was the Dior Beauty Backstage Glow Face Palette ($80). It’s great for any kind of makeup look as you can build intensity from a soft natural day one to an intense night look.
The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was the La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Eye Cream ($660). Caviar for the skin? Yes, please!
The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration was an eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury ($91) that is next on my shopping list as I’ve been obsessed lately with beauty finds on 小红书.
The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was that sleeping early and eating well is the secret to looking youthful.
