At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.
Here, educator and model Tiara Khaliesah Skadiang (@tskadiang) lists down some of her lasts.
The last beauty product I finished was Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($62). I adore this foundation so much because it colour matches my skin to a T.
I usually find it hard to get a foundation that has a good colour match and a formula that also oxidises well. This one has stuck with me ever since Fenty Beauty launched.
The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the W blush trend. I loved how sun-kissed and fresh it made people look so I tried it out. But oh my god, never again!
I could never get the proportions or angles right so it always made me look like I was sun burnt.
The last beauty product I bought was the Milani Cosmetics Gilded Eyeshadow Sticks (USD$11). This was an impulse buy as I had a last-minute event after work, so I didn’t have any extra makeup with me.
They were so easy to blend with just my fingers and work great as a lower lash line eyeliner too! The pigment is amazing for the price point.
The last beauty product I bought again was La Roche Posay’s Toleriane Ultra Dermo Hydrating Foaming Gel Cleanser($38.90). I have eczema-prone skin so light weight and gentle cleansers work best for me.
I love that it doesn’t leave my skin tight and among the cleansers I’ve tried, this one keeps my skin moist and plump the longest.
The last beauty product I made my holy grail was Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle The Body Oil ($133). I am a sucker for fragrances and anything that makes me smell good.
Recently, I learnt that perfume doesn’t work well on dry skin and you should always use a moisturiser or oil before using one to lock it in place. I scoured TikTok for some recommendations and settled on this one.
The best part is that you don’t even need that much because the oil itself has a lingering scent.
The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was a complete hair overhaul done by Hali at Spiq Hair Base.
Since I became a mum, I’ve been really lax about my hair and wouldn’t go beyond using a shampoo and conditioner. Most days, my hair would be up at home in a tangled mess and after two years, I thought I’d give myself a treat and do something different.
It was nice having some time to myself doing something completely for me.
The last image I looked at for beauty inspiration was a video tutorial instead. I have been dying to try a red lip but never got around to doing it! I always had qualms about it like would my teeth appear yellow? Did I get the right undertone? Would it transfer and stain?
I’ve been meaning to try something new this year with my lipsticks so I’ve been watching red lip tutorials, especially the ones with Fenty Beauty’s Icon Velvet in MVP.

The last makeup/skincare trick I taught someone was to heat their eyelash curler before using it. This is the easiest way to get the instant lash lift effect and helps it stay the longest.
If you’re afraid of burning your lashes with an electric heated lash curler like me then this is a good DIY alternative.
