At GRAZIA Singapore HQ, the old excites us as much as the new and in this weekly column, we ask our fellow friends, industry-goers and beauty aficionados about the last thing they loved be it trends, products, or even the image they looked at when it came to inspiring themselves.
Here, content creator and lawyer Nina Ariff (@ninariff) shares some of her lasts.
The last beauty product I finished was the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder ($79) and I’ve already stocked it up when I was in Singapore a few months back since it’s not available in Malaysia.
It’s honestly that good because it really does give a flawless finish! I love it!
The last viral makeup/skincare trend I tried was the Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick ($44) and Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($39). I’ve been hearing about these products a lot and honestly, I’m not surprised why it went viral.
The pigment is the top reason for me and it’s definitely the type of product I’ll keep on buying although I’ll have to get in line as it’s always sold out. But we can understand why, don’t we?
The last beauty product I bought was technically a gift. It was the Chanel Les Beiges Eau De Blush Water-Fresh Blush ($88) in the shade Intense Coral (we love hydrating products!). The way one pump of the liquid could literally imbue a blush on my face left me speechless. The finish is magnifiqué!
The last images I looked at for beauty inspiration were ones of Selena Gomez and Jennie Kim who are my go-tos when we talk about beauty inspiration! But if we’re talking about the last image, it was Selena Gomez’s latest Barbie-inspired look for her birthday! Perfection.
The last beauty product I bought again was the Maybelline Eyestudio Hyper Sharp Power Black Liner ($20.90). It’s been my all-time favourite since 2019 and I think it will be so forever. I can’t go anywhere without eyeliner on because personally, I feel like my eyes look better with a little cat-eye drawn.
It’s been my daily makeup look since forever, and I don’t see it changing anytime soon. For the price, result, and how it stays on for the whole day? Definitely a steal!
The last beauty indulgence I treated myself to was a facial session at Lubov Laser & Aesthetics that included a Glow Laser Treatment that made my skin look healthy, acne-free and glowy! Doctor Shi, the doctor-in-charge has been with me throughout the years.
Honestly, my skin has been the best under her care as I’ve been fighting acne, small bumps and dullness for the longest time. I’m happy to say that the facials and laser treatments do work but it just takes time, patience and consistency!
But if we’re talking about treatments at home, the Pixi BeautifEYE Brightening Eye Patches ($42) is the most recent product I tried to help with my dark eye circles. It instantly helped to awaken and refresh them!
The last beauty product I made a holy grail was the Nudestix Nudies Matte All Over Face Bronze Color ($57) which works as a bronzer, blusher, eyeshadow and lipstick. I personally use the shade Sunkissed Cool and love how the product is literally pocket-sized so that I can bring it anywhere I go!
The last beauty product I gifted someone was the Nudestix Matte All Over Face Bronze so that they could understand why I’m in love with it. Spoiler alert: it’s already their holy grail too!
The last beauty product that truly impressed me was IT Cosmetics’s newly released Bye Bye Dark Spots Concealer + Serum ($47). Truly life-changing as the hydration and the coverage it gives are just amazing with the benefit of making my skin look brighter!
Plus, it has a built-in brush that made my life so much easier.
