As the local beauty industry slowly returns to its former glory with drops by the day, we have taken it into our hands to talk weekly about some of the best beauty launches. Some are noteworthy for their instant results, while others are special simply because they make us feel and look good.
What do they all have in common though? They’ve been meticulously tested, intensively investigated and very much loved by us.
Here, the top 10 beauty launches that landed on GRAZIA’s beauty desk this week.

Hair mists have always been a way to scent yourself if you’re sensitive to fragrances or alcohol and the Bvlgari Rose Gold Blossom Delight Hair Mist Rose Goldea is quite an exception. While it smells exactly like the EDT with notes of sweet rose and creamy lily of the valley, its scent seems to last longer than other hair mists in the market.
Bvlgari Rose Goldea Blossom Delight Hair Mist, $73
2. Dream State
If you’re a fan of Aesop’s Othertopia series, Gloam might smell pleasingly familiar as it retains the line’s woody earthy scent that often, is accompanied by light green spices and sweetened floral notes. Where it differs, however, is the earthy patchouli base that gives it a sensual and warm dry down. Expect remarkable sillage too with this fragrance where its wear can clock in for up to eight hours. It however, only drops in stores come 10th April.
Aesop Gloam EDP, $73 for 50ml
3. BEAR NECESSITIES
To be quite honest, most cleansers be it a facial, body or even dishwashing liquid can be used to clean your Beauty Blenders but not only is the bear-shaped one from this set really cute, it even removes deep-seated stains from the sponge if you’re well, really lazy at cleaning it in the first place.
Beauty Blender Beary Flawless Blend & Cleanse Set, US$22
4. STROKE GAME
Compared to products like the ones from Les Beiges line or Ombres pallets, Chanel’s eyebrow products are criminally underrated. This brow pencil’s formula gives a strong colour payoff with the lightest of strokes and if you notice a “film” forming on your brows, that means the formula too is “setting” to make the finish waterproof. Bonus: its tapered tip means it requires no sharpening.
Chanel Stylo Sourcils Waterproof Defining Longer Brow Pencil, $65
5. SOFTEN UP
One pump of this cleanser that melts from jelly to an oil (also, a sign that you’re using it right) immediately breaks down heavier makeup like lip vinyl or waterproof mascara and most importantly, washes off completely clean with no “film” or stickiness left on your skin even if you’re not double cleansing. A tip for those with oilier or acne-prone skin is to keep the cleansing to around a minute to prevent further congestion.
Fenty Melt Awf Jelly Oil Makeup-Melting Cleanser, $50
6. BOND AGAIN
If you notice instantly shiny and smoother hair without any weight, that is because Kerasilk is using an ingredient called Biomimetic Silk which is a combination of amino acids that mimics what the fabric is like. This conditioner is so rich in hydration too that if you’re in a pinch, you can use it as a hair mask.
Kerasilk’s Smoothing Conditioner is available at Chez Vous Hair Salon, Hairwerkz, Kiu Hair Gallery, O’Color Hair, Picasso Hair Studio, and Roots — Where Hair Begins, $46
7. PURE POWER
A serum with a 9.8% concentration of glycolic acid might seem high or even impossible in context to the usual percentage (5% to 10%) and formula (usually in a cream) but Kiehl’s has always pioneered lighter formulas with strong efficacy. This serum is no different: a fast-absorbing formula with glycolic acid smoothening, lightening, and retexturing in just three days. A little goes a long way too so just use a maximum of three to four drops.
Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum, $42
8. SOFT LINES
To be honest, I’m not sure if the word booster in the product’s name is a reference to the term skin boosters which are micro-injections of dermal fillers in the skin but it certainly seems to do the same. The first visual effect you’ll notice is instantly tighter skin with visibly smoothened lines and if you’re diligent with using this product that contains six pro-collagen peptides, expect the results to be permanent after a minimum of four weeks.
Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster, $88
9. BARBIE GIRL
For makeup beginners and novices, you’re going to love that the colours are complimentary to each other and their formulas ranging from creams to gels, and powders are easy to work with. For the experts, the versatility extends too to how you can use the foiling method for an even stronger colour payoff. And like the first one called the Glam Face Palette, expect longer when it comes to the longevity of each colour that can range from eight to even 14 if you applying a setting mist.
Natasha Denona Love Face Palette, $99
10. CREAM FRESH
The clear in the product’s name isn’t a reference to it clearing blemishes but instead, how it helps to clear signs of aggression and stress like redness, sensitivity, and dullness with a blend of Asian herbs and botanicals. It can also perform as a hydrating makeup base too to a certain extent if you have dry skin as it leaves a glowy, smooth finish.
Kosé Sekkisei Clear Wellness Refining Milk, $48
