GRAZIA’s Best Of Beauty: 10 Best New Products Of the Week

Now, add to cart

As the local beauty industry has returned to its former glory with drops by the day, we have taken it into our hands to talk weekly about some of the best beauty launches. Some are noteworthy for their instant results, while others are special simply because they make us feel and look good while looking good themselves.

Here, the top 10 beauty launches that landed on GRAZIA’s beauty desk or piqued our interest this week.

Pictured Above: 1. Dazzling Gleam
The clean and fresh citrus in this perfume’s opening that smoothly connects to a rich, woody middle makes it so beautiful to wear in hot weather as it has a shimmering quality that lasts and lasts on the skin. For those familiar with the EDT version, you might even think that this one smells a little more daring and assertive—perfect if you’re trying to make a scent statement that doesn’t overwhelm yourself and others.
Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche EDP, $280 for 100ml

2. Hot Shot

While this rich cream was specifically made to encourage laziness as it slows down the colour fading of one’s hair, we would recommend it to anyone who subjects her mane to heat on the daily. It claims to do so for temperatures that heat up to 232 degrees Celsius, not that anybody should subject their hair to it but it’s nice knowing you’re getting complete protection.
Briogeo Color Me Brilliant™ Mushroom Bamboo Hair Color Protect Primer, $45

3. Sunset Years

Want to smell like the main character in a Luca Guadagnino film themed around summer? Bvlgari’s Allegra line might have the answer with Passeggiata—Italian for stroll and with vintage-like notes of florals and white musk that’ll whisk you away to summer 1983 when you fell in love somewhere in northern Italy.
Bvlgari Allegra Radiant Passeggiata EDP, $396 for 100ml

4. Jello There

Four shades that are retro and delightfully named so—Victoria Plum, Strawberry Rhubarb, Bramley Apple, Orange Marmalade—make for a less predictable manicure but it’s the jelly-like finish, conditioning formula, and brush that allows for one clean coat with just a swipe that has us sold.
Butter London Jelly Preserve Strengthening Treatment, $28

5. Beach Bum

Is a sun water a good way to completely protect yourself from UVA and UVB rays? Frankly, no as it doesn’t offer as much coverage as lotions. Is it instead a good way to top up sun protection? This mist certainly proves so as it quickly dries when sprayed on the face, body, and hair. It even moisturises the skin with grape polyphenols and smells delightfully nostalgic—a blend of orange blossom, coconut milk, and white jasine.
Caudalie Vinosun Very High Protection SPF 50+ Sun Water, $46

6. Flawless Finish

This setting spray has been widely raved about for years as it “melts” makeup into the skin for a truly flawless finish while extending its wear for up to 16 hours in any climate. Now, it comes in an even larger size if you have a proclivity for constantly misting yourself and unlike other sprays, you do not need to tissue it off as it hydrates the skin with aloe vera and green tea extracts.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray XL, $73 for 200ml

7. Magic Potion

If you look up the word glamour on dictionary.com, you’ll get an explanation of the noun which describes this fragrance to a T—a fascinating opening of lipstick-like iris, alluring with a dose of creamy neroli, and the sweet, balsamic warmth of benzoin and myrrh that is undoubtedly attractive.
Elie Saab Elixir EDP, $159 for 50ml

8. Bases Covered

If there’s one thing that Mother knows best with Fenty Skin, it would be creating skincare products that makes makeup application simply stunning. Her latest serve is this pimple-busting gel that creates an invisible shield between spots and makeup to ensure that there’s no flaking as its potent formula of saliyclic acid, willow bark, and licorice quickly reduces its size and redness.
Fenty Skin Blemish Defeat’r BHA Spot-Targeting Gel, $36

9. Black Out

This mascara is intensely dark and by that, we mean that it goes on and dries down to the exact shade of #101820 black which other mascaras don’t as they are usually formulated with waxes that makes the formula turn slightly grey. Don’t be apprehensive though as its bristles are designed to grip and glide effortless over your lashes for a clump-proof finish that’s mistake proof even for first timers.
KVD Beauty Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara, $39

10. Oil In One

We like our oils to imbue the skin with a visible difference as quickly as its formula sinks into the skin, and this has two ingredients to scratch that itch. It’s highly concentrated in vitamins A, B, and E thanks to a base of rosehip oil, and the addition of limonene gives it a refreshing citrus-scent that’ll relax you after a long day.
Neal’s Yard Organic Rosehip Oil, $38
