As the local beauty industry slowly returns to its former glory with drops by the day, we have taken it into our hands to talk weekly about some of the best beauty launches. Some are noteworthy for their instant results, while others are special simply because they make us feel and look good.
Here, the top 10 beauty launches that landed on GRAZIA’s beauty desk or piqued our interest this week.

How premium is this hair mask? Well, besides having the intensively moisturising strength of a mask courtesy of camellia oil and royal jelly, it grants you the ultimate luxury—time as you can just apply it after conditioner, let it sit for 10 seconds, and rinse it off immediately for shiny, stronger hair.
Tsubaki Premium EX Repair Mask, $21.90
2. LIGHT TOUCH
This watery serum pumps the skin with Vitamins E and B, and anti-oxidant-rich botanical extracts which makes this perfect for combination skin that is also prone to acne. In fact, it is so hydrating that I would even recommend it for use on drier areas of the body which usually need more love.
Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Intense Serum, $119
3. GLOW GETTER
A beautifully lightweight skin tint concentrated with plant waxes, red camellia extract and oil, and hyaluronic acid, this product gives just the right amount of colour to make your complexion appear more even while providing enough “grip” that makes foundation application smooth and flawless.
Chanel N°1 de Chanel Red Camellia Skin Enhancer available come 1st July, $98
4. FULL STABILITY
The Japanese brand has been the number one sensitive skincare brand for 15 years and with one good reason—they’re constantly thinking of what makes skin sensitive and how to combat it. This serum contains concentrated prebiotic yeast extract and horse chestnut extract that instantly gets to work to strengthen the microbiome which in turn, reduces sensitivity and plumps your skin to rid it of wrinkles and lines.
dprogram Intense Enriching Serum, $59.90
5. ALL SYSTEMS GO
To be honest, it’s not enough anymore for sunscreens to just protect the skin against UV rays. We like ours to do so at maximum strength while letting us go about our day with ease by also protecting it from dust, smog and blue light. This one does everything we mentioned and with one more added benefit—a non-greasy finish and brightening finish that makes it double up as a makeup primer.
Dr Dennis Gross All-Physical Ultimate Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++, $67
6. IN THE BUFF
Physical exfoliators might not be as trendy now compared to chemical ones but once in a while, nothing beats feeling like you’re really getting dead skin cells off your face. This gentle exfoliator does so with superfine sugar and silica bits but make sure you leave it on for a while like you’d do with a mask to let its fruit extracts “eat away” at leftover dead skin cells.
Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Superfine Daily Cleansing Face Scrub, $42
7. BERRY GOOD
Pardon the pun but how else to describe Glow Recipe’s new serum besides it being berry good thanks to a strawberry complex that gently exfoliates and clears pores and blemishes alongside salicylic acid and an AHA blend? Hyaluronic acid, allantoin, and vitamin B have also been added into the mix to hydrate and soothe which means you might have a zero per cent chance of any sensitivity.
Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA+AHA Salicylic Serum, $68
8. GLIDE AWAY
My concern with cleansing oils is that the more powerful ones always sting if you get it into your eyes and I’m happy to say that this one that doesn’t is my new holy grail. It removes even the most waterproof of makeup and looking at the dirt and keratin plugs it manages to unearth from my pores is such a delight. Pro tip: I know brands always mention you can just wash the oil off in the shower after emulsifying it but you’ll always get the cleanest result if you wipe it off after with a damp and warm microfibre cloth.
ONE by KOSÉ Clear Pore Oil, $28
9. AFTER EFFECTS
Using an expensive facial wash is always a pleasurable experience but managing to find an affordable one that performs like said expensive one is chef’s kiss to me. Just a small amount of this wash foams up densely to cover the face and neck without drying it and Japanese Yuzu extract in its formula tightens pores and brightens the skin as it has twice the potency of Vitamin C and BHA.
Senka Perfect Whip Vitamin-C Poreless Glow, $10.90
10. EAST MEETS WEST
This rich and moisturising sunscreen ticks all the boxes for us. A high SPF rating? Check. Beautiful ingredients like Arginine, Glycoprotein, and Korean herbal ingredients that address wrinkles? Check. A moist finish that makes our skin look radiant and well-rested? Check. The only con, however, is that it’s made for people with drier skin as oilier ones might sweat it off.
The History of Whoo GongJinHyang JinHaeYoon Wrinkle Sun SPF 50+/PA++++, $78
