As the local beauty industry slowly returns to its former glory with drops by the day, we have taken it into our hands to talk weekly about some of the best beauty launches. Some are noteworthy for their instant results, while others are special simply because they make us feel and look good.
What do they all have in common though? They’ve been meticulously tested, intensively investigated and very much loved by us.
Here, the top 10 beauty launches that landed on GRAZIA’s beauty desk this week.

Besides the fact that this eyeshadow quartet has some wearable shades—two cream-infused pearly browns, a satin brown pink, and a luminous pink—its wearability extends to how you can apply it too. Simply use your fingers as their soft pigments blend in easily without any streaking.
Chantecaille Wild Meadows Eye Quartet, $137
2. Gold Standard
Not only is this asymmetrical incense holder a piece of functional art that you can even use as a jewellery trinket, its bronze body means that it takes on a unique patina depending on the temperature, humidity and air condition of your adobe.
Aesop Bronze Incense Holder, $210

3. Soft Sparkle
The flanker to the iconic Chloé Chloé fragrance keeps what an existing fanbase loves about it—soft rose and a powdery musk—and elevates it by adding Moroccan neroli, sparkling blackcurrant and a sensual mimosa that dances on top of the skin. It is now also refillable if you’re the type who treasures her perfume bottles.
Chloé Rose Naturelle, $280 for a 100ml bottle or a 150ml refill
4. Get Glowing
With a new formula of 97% natural-origin ingredients, this glow-enhancing primer now causes little-to-no irritation which is great for even the most sensitive of skin. While it has skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and red hibiscus extract for hydration and brightening, I find that it works too if you apply it on the body where it can soothe irritation that comes from razor burns.
Dior Forever Glow Veil, $95

5. STRONG HOLD
If you’re looking for a foundation that truly lasts all day in our humid weather, this one does the job with an elegant water-resistant formula that also delivers full coverage. It also never cakes or streaks but however, it is easy to go overboard so start with just half a pump and work your way up if you need more coverage.
Gucci Beauty’s Éternité de Beauté Foundation, $105
6. Three Count
Each pump of this serum contains 7,000 “micro-sculptors” derived from orchid molecules that work like “micro-lifters” to the skin. What is beautiful too about this product is its water-like formula compared to other serums means that you’ll have time to perform facial massages to drain excess fluid away. Expect instantly lifted skin if you can find the time to do so.
Guerlain Orchidée Impériale Micro-Lift, $803

7. CREAM SHEEN
Skip the lip balm and liner when you use this lipstick as not only is it hydrating and pigmented, it doesn’t bleed even if you have wrinkles on the lips and its surrounding areas. However, I’d still recommend using a lip primer or even a translucent powder to set it as it’s not transfer-proof. The shade above seems to be selling out and for good reason: it’s a universally flattering red.
Hourglass Unlocked Satin Creme Lipstick in 324 Roar, $66
8. Flakes Away
If your dandruff problem consists of just a few flakes, simply foam this product up and massage it into your scalp before leaving it on for two to three minutes and washing it off. If it’s moderate, I recommend wetting your scalp with an apple cider vinegar mix first to break up the bacteria-rich biofilm which in turn, helps this product work better.
Ouai Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, $57

9. HEAVENLY BODIES
This 10-colour eyeshadow pallet might seem intimidating for first-timers but a trick is to always anchor an eyeshadow look with the bottom left colour called XTreme Nocturne no matter how many colours you use. For the more experienced, you might already be familiar with the intensity of McGrath’s eyeshadows and her fourth one is no different in the ways you can use or even combine them. If you’re travelling and have no space in your luggage, the shimmery shades also work if you apply them to areas like the collarbone, cleavage or legs using a highlighter brush.
Pat McGrath Labs Mothership X Moonlit Seduction, $202
10. CLEAR WEATHER
Designed to combat the foggy yellow dullness that comes from sleep deprivation, the first sign of this lightweight essence working is a brighter skin tone courtesy of the brand’s PITERA™ essence and the next, is how you’ll achieve a lit-from-within glow with the inclusion of a white lotus complex.
SK-II GenOptics Ultraura Essence, $489
