The Spring/Summer 2025 runway shows were full of inspiration, not just sartorially but also on the beauty front. This season, brands were bolder than ever before, embracing makeup and hair styles that went well beyond clean, no-makeup makeup or slicked-back buns.
Ahead, discover the four best beauty trends that we spotted on the runways of the season, and how you can recreate them yourself.
LIVE AND LET LIVE

This season, brands like Saint Laurent, Fendi and more favoured the effortless charm of lived-in hairstyles. On the Dior runway, models showcased frizzy, undone buns inspired by Maria Grazia Chiuri’s athletic collection. Our tip to tackle this trend? Perfect it with a texture-gripping hair mousse that gives just the right amount of volume.

GRAZIA Tip: To keep your locks healthy—even with a robust dose of frizzing action—incorporate a nourishing treatment into your routine for a mirror-like sheen from root to tip.
’60s ALLURE

The ’60s proved to be a major influence on Spring/Summer 2025 runways. Brands embodied the decade’s key beauty elements through flowing, boho-chic locks (Chloé) and intense kohl eyeliner (Gucci). Lean further into the trend by taking a page out of Paul Costelloe’s book, which featured full-bodied blowouts and pastel shadows liberally swept over the lids.

GRAZIA Tip: Extend the life of your pastel eyeshadow with a lid-priming potion, which not only neutralises hyperpigmentation, but also prevents unwanted creasing around the eyelids.
BRIGHT EYED

Experimental eye looks took centre stage this season, with sequined-embellished liner à la Chanel and Loewe’s futuristic, metallic wings. The drama didn’t just end with the eyeliner—creative, colourful expressions all over the eyes with bright feathery lashes (Ganni) and tinted eyebrows (think bright blue hues seen at Chet Lo) were the order of the day.

GRAZIA Tip: If bold eye looks seem all too daunting, dip your toes into vibrant makeup play with a blue or red mascara, for a subtly striking wink of colour.
MAKE SHORE

Sun-kissed skin stole the spotlight on the runway—case in point: Ralph Lauren and Schiaparelli’s models sported luminous, bronzer-heavy bases. Roberto Cavalli took the look one step further, employing the Tiktok-favourite “boy blush” technique—intentionally focusing blush placement lower on the cheeks—to give their models a more radiant and youthful appearance.

GRAZIA Tip: A glow-from-within look is best achieved with a big, feathery brush. Concentrate the powder in the middle of the cheeks before diffusing lightly to reach your desired intensity.
