One of the biggest moments in beauty that happened over the weekend: Selena Gomez teasing the launch of Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush. A hybrid between the brand’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter, the newest (yet-to-be-released) product from Rare was put to the Colour Theory test by LA-based beauty creator Monica Ravichandran and Gomez herself. The Colour Theory series was created by Ravichandran, who focuses on #browngirlmakeup, to highlight how the same products—lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows, what have you—can all look starkly different once applied on different skin tones (with a special focus on deeper, richer skin tones).

One of our favourite things that’s come out of the Tiktok-viral office siren aesthetic? The soft, sultry glam that just serves pure seduction. Smoky cool-toned eyeshadows, pencil-thin brows and the sharpest eyeliner you’ve ever seen are some of the hallmarks of the look.
